Special packages are available to all groups booking a visit to The Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre. Any person booking and/or visiting The Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre does so subject to the following conditions.

 

Booking

• All bookings must be made via Tapir Ltdwho act as agents in all transactions concerning groups and intermediary admission sales for The Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre.

• Only pre-booked groups will be accepted. Buses, minibuses and coaches that have not pre-booked, will incur a £100+VAT parking charge.

• To qualify for Group discounts and benefits groups must comprise of at least 15 persons and must pre-book their visit at least 7 working days in advance of arrival.

• Groups who reduce their numbers to less than 15 will be charged the standard rates and not receive any discounts or group benefits on admission or food.

• All bookings remain provisional until full payment has been received.

• Companies who apply to be invoiced on or after the visit date must provide official authorisation to confirm their booking and acceptance of these terms.

• Once full payment has been received your booking will be confirmed to you in writing.

• All provisional bookings will be released 48 hours prior to the arrival time.

• The Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre andTapir Ltd reserve the right to charge for any amendments made within the 48 hour period prior to arrival.

 

Payment

• Full pre-payment must be made at least 7 days in advance of your visit unless payment on invoice has been agreed by Tapir Ltd accounts dept. Please contact us if you are having problems making payment for your group.

• All payments must be made in pounds sterling (£).

• Failure to pre-pay for your Arena Show will result in your booking being released 48 hours before your expected arrival time. 

• Failure to pre-pay for meals and refreshments will result in the group food not being available and visitors ordering and paying for food on arrival at retail prices.

• Payment must be made by BACS transfer to the account details provided.

• Credit card payments for group bookings are not accepted.

• All bank charges are the responsibility of the customer.

• A Remittance Advice should be sent to lakelandfarm@tapirco.comto confirm all BACS transfers. Your booking will not be confirmed until we have received the payment into our bank.

• Once payments have been received a receipt will be sent out.

• Groups who have made arrangements to be invoiced do not need to pay in advance. These groups must pay any invoice within 28 days of the invoice date. Failure to do so may result in late payment penalties and pre-payment being required for future visits.

 

General Information

 

Cancellation

• Cancellations of Arena Show bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance of your arrival time. 

• Cancellations and amendments for meals and refreshments must be made at least six working days in advance of arrival. 

• The Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre andTapir Ltd retain absolute discretion as to whether late cancellations will be charged. Standard fees for late cancellation are 100% of the booking. To cancel your booking please email lakelandfarm@tapirco.com and enquiries@lakelandfarmvisitorcentre.co.uk

• No-shows: The Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre andTapir Ltd retain absolute discretion as to whether groups who do not arrive for their tour will be charged. Standard fees for no-shows are 100% of the booking. 

• RefundsThe Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre andTapir Ltd retain absolute discretion as to whether refunds will be given.

• Translators – Any groups wishing to bring a translator will be required to book exclusive use. Please consult with us when booking.

 

On the Day

• We ask all groups to arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled Arena Show or meal service time. The Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre andTapir Ltd reserve the right to refuse entry to any group arriving after their scheduled arrival time. The Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre andTapir Ltd retain absolute discretion as to whether late arriving groups/people will be charged for their visit. Standard fees for late arrival will be 100% of the booking.

• Groups arriving with fewer people than originally booked will be charged for all booked places.

• A coach drop off point is located directly in front of the Centre and can be used from 10 minutes prior to their arrival time for up to 10 minutes. Refusal of Entry and Removal from Premises

The Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre andTapir Ltd reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person who:

• Arrives late for their visit.

• Is suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

• Does not respect the sensitive nature of the attraction or the welfare of the animals.

• Behaves in a manner that is disruptive to the enjoyment of other visitors.

• Behaves in a manner that compromises the safety of other visitors or staff.

• Uses verbal or physical threats or insults toward any member of staff.

• Consumes food or drink not purchased from The Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre without the express, written permission of the owners.
